Puts forward a strong case, in the light of the on-going partnership between PRIAE, the Great Wall Housing Association and Hanover Housing, for an Extra Care Home for the Chinese community of London. PRIAE’s BAFTA launched Playing Our Part After 50 – Citizenship and Participation of Black and Minority Ethnic Elders (Dual pack of film and guide, 1999)

This BAFTA-launched film that received funding from the Home Office Race Equality Unit, entertainingly shows the contribution of BME elders and encourages others to get involved with volunteering. It can be used to reform stereotypes on old age and targets everyone from young people in schools to elders from minority and majority communities, policymakers and professionals. - £29.99
